Nurturing Hope Within Our Community
At Renso Foundation, we believe that true resilience begins with care.
This Lunar New Year season, we are organizing a special community visit to a residential mental health care home serving Vietnamese and Asian residents in Toronto. This initiative reflects the heart of our mission - especially the “N – Nurturing” in RENSO.
Why This Visit Matters
Mental health residents in long-term care facilities are among the most vulnerable members of our community. Many are elderly immigrants who face not only health challenges, but also language barriers and cultural isolation.
For individuals living away from family and familiar environments, small gestures of compassion can have a profound emotional impact.
This visit is about:
Showing up with presence and respect
Bringing warmth and cultural connection
Reinforcing dignity and belonging
Reminding residents that they are not forgotten
We are not simply organizing an event.We are building human connection.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Supporters contributing $500 or more may nominate one representative to join the visit (subject to facility approval and visitor limitations). Major sponsors will also receive recognition in event materials.
Due to the sensitive nature of the care facility, attendance will be carefully coordinated to ensure a respectful environment for residents.
